Thank you to everyone that supported our first annual Walk-a-thon for SURVIVORSHIP!

About the Event

Join us for our 1st Annual Walk-a-thon supporting Cancer Survivors!  A fun-filled morning complete with loads of fun for the whole family.  

Our Fun Walk is approximately 1.5 miles. 

Including:

  • Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Address from Mayor Andrew Ginther

  • City of Columbus

  • Maria Durant, ABC/Fox Anchor

  • ATT Media Ambassador Honorarium East High School Band Mifflin High School Cheerleaders

  • Children's Activities

  • CARESOURCE

  • Community Health Resources

  • Retail Vendors

  • Live appearance by Urban One (Radio One) Live DJ

  • Food Truck

  • Celebration Line Dance

  • and so much more...

When:  Saturday, June 25, 2022

Where: The Beautiful Franklin Park Adventure Center at 1755 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43203 

The Details: The Registration Fee is $40/per person $175 per team of 5 (includes your t-shirt & refreshments). We encourage you to create a team with friends, family, or co-workers! Walk-in honor of a SURVIVOR you know or in memory of a loved one. Raise awareness and support women affected by Cancer.

Schedule of Events: 

  • Registration from 9 am - 10 am 

  • Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony begins at 10 am

  • Walk 10:15 am to 11:30 am

  • Celebratory Line Dance at 11:30 am 

  • Vendors and Activities will continue until 1 pm

Parking: Adventure Center Parking Lot, East Broad Street & Franklin Park W., and street parking.  No parking along the walkways or driveways within the park or at the conservatory.
