About
"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style"
-Maya Angelou
At The Table (ATT) was founded on July 25, 2017, with a focus on enhancing the lives of women and girls in the Columbus Metropolitan area through health awareness, domestic violence awareness, mentorship, and educational resources. Our Executive Board consists of six (6) talented members, community-focused decision-makers who serve diligently in making positive impacts in the lives of women, girls, and the community. They represent entrepreneurs, mentors, teachers, and volunteers who work towards collaborating with community leaders, agencies, and individuals to establish partnerships to expand the missions and goals of At The Table.

“There’s something about the power of women, especially when we come together! We cannot win this race alone. We must support each other and be an example to future generations! We must stand strong, move firmly, and boldly – and know we have each other’s back – Together We Stand! – We Build! - We THRIVE!
- Dushon L. Johnson
As Co-Founder and President, Deniece has humbly chosen to sow her finances, time, attention and other blessings in the lives of young women and girls who may not otherwise realize their full value and potential. Like the strong women entrepreneurs that have come before her, Deniece hopes to leave a legacy of strength and empowerment. If she is able to impact a life, she has fulfilled her purpose!
We believe all women can embrace who
they are,
can define their future, and can change
the world.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower women and girls to reach their full potential through social awareness, well-being, mentoring, and educational resources with a focus on the African American Community.
Our Vision
We envision a world where women and girls are whole in Mind, Spirit, and Body, and where she knows all things are possible!
