Sherri loves to use quotes as a medium to express a point. “Mentoring is a brain to pick, an ear to listen, and a push in the right direction,” by John C. Crosby is one that she feels is apropos for the work to be done by At TheTable. “We intend to share all the knowledge we’ve gained down through the years that will help some young lady. Listen intently so they feel their worth and then nudge them in the right direction just like my many mentors did me! “
Another quote often attributed to Both Jonetta B. Cole and Muhammad Ali, is “service to others is the rent that’s due for our opportunity to be here! “. She believes in paying it forward.
Sherri loves the Bible scripture that says “To whom much is given, much is required.” She considers herself blessed and sets about the business of blessing others.
